Beds | It refers to the actual number of beds in medical institutions, including formal beds, simple beds, nursing beds, and beds under sterilization or repair. Neonatal beds, prenatal beds, observation beds, temporary beds and beds for patients' families are excluded. | Number of beds/total population× 1000 |
physicians | It refers to the physicians who hold a practising physician certificate, including practising physicians and assistants in China. Those involved in the management of health workers as part of the health workforce, such as presidents, vice presidents and party secretaries, are excluded. | Number of physicians/total population× 1000 |
